Travel and Tour

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. When you travel and observe the world around you then you would realize travelling is best form of learning with permanent effect in your life. Travel is the movement of people between relatively distant geographical locations, and can involve travel by foot, bicycle, automobile, train, boat, airplane, or other means, with or without luggage, and can be one way or round trip. The purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. And, you know travel and tour is only one alternative that gives you all those pleasures in your life.

Everyone is self-center, want best alternative among available. But in the case of travel and tour it is not true, each travelling is superior to other at least in one dimension and give you different perspective of life after completing it. So, If you get chance to travel then don’t waste so much time thinking about it just pack your bags and go, do it. Go alone if you have to. Don’t do it for luxury. Don’t do it to take pictures for facebook, googleplus and other social network to jealous your friends and relatives. Do it because it will make you a better person.

Don’t you feel bore doing same routine task every day?  Sometimes, you may talk to yourself saying enough is enough, I can’t take it anymore, I want break. If you are hard worker then you truly deserve that one break where you can do whatever you like and not have a single worry of the world. Do not hesitate in taking breaks; it is the best way where you can regain your energy and get revitalized to come back in your daily lives. Taking a break and travelling will be a motivation to keep on with your life!

Each individual is different than other, and doesn’t have equal risk bearing capacity. Anyone, who plan to minimize risk and need more than one suitcase fall in the category of tourist, not a traveller. Travelling is all about unplanned, facing new experience in each journey. The best experiences are often not scheduled or anticipated. Expect the unexpected and learn to love it. Traveling is a brutality but in a nice way. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things: air, sleep, dreams, sea, and the sky. Don’t afraid to challenge yourself, go beyond your comfort zone, give yourself a gentle shock by trying completely new thing and make your travel and tour unforgettable for rest of your life.

Travel and tour is important because it fundamentally transforms you. Travelling exposes you to the different cultures of the world. You meet different people, see their lifestyles and taste new food. Travelling opens up your mind and you see how rest of the world functions. You may either return home with an appreciation of our own country or the place you visited. Your mind will change accordingly and you will start accepting the different cultures and people instead of criticizing them. You realize that there are so many different cultures in the world which are equally enjoyable. You might even make new friends on your travel and tour from a completely different culture. It reinforces your willingness to broaden your horizons, to get unstuck and to move in new directions. It is a bit surprise to say that travel and tour help you to recognize yourself. If you are going alone then you know our strength and weakness, tolerance power to bear new and absurd thing around you. It makes you more flexible and easy going person. Lastly, seeing the world thorough travel and tour provide a source of education absolutely impossible get in school, teaching you things like geography, economy, history, politics, , and sociology.

Sometimes you might miss home but those days are pretty rare. Most of the time you will be far too busy having fun to think of home. You will come back with so many wonderful memories and, if you have so much fun from your travelling then you are busy to plan for next travel and tour, the moment we reach home. Distance that is created from travel and tour make you realize the importance of your family and friends. You begin to appreciate family, friends, and loved ones. Appreciate the comfort of ordinary routines. Find a new found respect for the life we often wish to escape.

Volunteering with VIN was an incredibly experience! I spent an amazing 2 weeks working in 4 schools teaching about disasters and preparedness while enhancing the childrens english. Everyone I met was so lovely and helpful enciting me into their culture. While in Okhaldhunga I got to see multiple festivals including Gai Jatra and Teej, which was unforgettable and really made my time in Nepal. I'm so glad VIN allowed me to see the beautiful sights and culture if Nepal and I wish to come back soon!
