VIN is doing a great job; there is lots of work to be done. But you make it! Working as a volunteer for VIN; my experience, I worked for 4 weeks as a volunteer on women empowerment program in Jitpurphedi. It was a great time: the start at the airport with Akkal who is waiting and welcoming me was very nice. You really feel welcome then.
 
Also the staff; everyone who is working at VIN office is very open and they all try to help you as good as they can. My experience as a great in the host family was also very positive. They helped me as good as possible and it was a great experience to live with them and get more idea of how it is to live in Nepal.
 
My work as a volunteer on the women empowerment program was also a very positive experience. Giving lessons on leadership and self-esteem in combination of woman rights and violence was I felt important to do.
